Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!

Two young children dressed in winter coats and hats stand outside on a patchy snow-covered garden, separated by a vertical pink border. A house and fenced garden are visible in the background, capturing a perfect Let It Snow moment.
Guess what all? It’s snowing. Yey!
I think every child loves this time of year when it snows and they get to actually go out and play. It’s weird really as usually in the cold whether I would have both boys inside wrapped up but the slightest bit of snow and everyone’s out playing.
Thomas is loving the snow whereas Charlie was a bit apprehensive since it’s his first time being out in it. Last year he was only 3 month old so hasn’t really seen the snow properly until now.
Two young children bundled in winter clothes and hats play outside in the snow. On the left, a child stands in the snow; on the right, another stands atop a snow-covered concrete post. The scene captures a joyful Let It Snow moment.
Eventually, they were both out in the street playing. Thomas was making tracks whilst Charlie was just trying to work out what it was. We couldn’t stay out too long as Charlie kept taking his mittens off so his hands were freezing but still we were out for a good half hour.
As you can imagine, it wasn’t long till we were having a snowball fight. Thomas has a great aim and kept getting me but me being mummy meant I kept purposely accidently missing him.
A woman with blonde hair and a maroon scarf poses outdoors with two young children in winter coats and hats, set against a snowy suburban backdrop with houses. It’s the perfect Let It Snow moment.
I hope this snow will stay around for a little while longer so the boys get to have a little more fun outdoors but I’m dreading the ice on the Monday morning walk to school.

  1. We've had a lot of fun in the snow too but I know what you mean about dreading Monday and the walk to school…It will of all iced over and be like a giant ice rink…eek 🙁

  2. We have had a lot of snow recently, the children and myself have really enjoyed playing in it. Hope your boys enjoyed it as much as we did. Lovely photos thanks for linking up with Mummybird x
