HelloCanvas Review and Giveaway

When HelloCanvas.co.uk challenged me to test the quality of their canvas’s I was up and ready for the challenge. I searched my photos and after some deliberation went for one that had loads of bright colours. It was an image of Thomas and Charlie pulling faces at the camera. As they are the main point, quite focused in on them, and with the canvas being a large size (20 x 28 inch) I wanted to see whether the canvas would show the definition in the boys faces as good as the photo is on screen.
I emailed the photo across to them on Friday and no less than an hour later did I get a confirmation of the canvas being shipped and 3 days later, on Monday, it arrived. Not bad at all considering it came from the Netherlands and on a weekend too. With sheer anticipation I opened the packaging and was so shocked at the results.
Two young children lie on the floor—one in a red shirt with a surprised expression, the other in blue smiling widely. Both look towards the camera, appearing happy and playful during their HelloCanvas giveaway photo moment.

The colours, the definition, the quality, just perfect!
I love how the colours on the boys clothing stands out so much, they are so bright and how the expressions on Thomas and Charlie’s faces are so distinctive. I’m astounded at the quality and clarity of the canvas.
With the photo being blown up so much, I wasn’t expecting it to come out so impressive. We don’t have an all singing, all dancing DSLR, just a standard digital, a Panasonic Lumix 16mp camera which is good enough for what I use them for but for a big canvas and using a photo which has quite a lot of detail too, I really wasn’t expecting it to be this good.

To purchase a canvas at this size (20 x 28 inch) will set you back £39 but I would say that is a reasonable price for the quality and level of service you get.

A collage with a note from HelloCanvas.co.uk at the top and two young children with expressive faces below—one surprised, one smiling. Perfect for sharing in your HelloCanvas review or as inspiration for a HelloCanvas giveaway entry.

I have a beautiful photo of my partner holding our newborn daughter and our son. I would love to win this to capture this precious picture and give it to him on fathers day.

  2. I would choose a canvas of my mum and her dog to give to her as she has been ill and i'm looking after her dog until she can have her back. She really misses her and this would really cheer her up.

  3. I took a beautiful photo last night of my partner & our 4 moth old. They fell asleep together with their hands intertwined. I'd love to have it put on a canvas.

  4. I would choose a family portrait too. One of us on holiday really enjoying ourselves so we can look back on the memories of the good times we shared with each other.

  5. Every year 13 of us aged from 4 to 89 yrs get together for an annual family photo. I'd choose the best of those and then give the canvas to my mum (the oldest member) . She'd love it

  6. Definitely one of all the family. My Mum & Dad, me & sis & brother-in-law, niece & nephew, and great niece. Sis and brother-in-law now live in the USA (long way from sis's home town of Pontefract, Yorkshire) so it would be a nice thing to do. Parents wouldn't be able to go and see sis much longer (as Dad's health is getting worse – he's 72)

  7. Lovely idea, i'd do one of my wedding day, not sure which one but something with friends and family in.

  8. I would choose a picture of my fiancée, myself and our new baby girl so that we can have a lovely big picture of the three of us!!

  9. My Niece, the youngest of 12 now, so need to make sure she still gets as much fuss and treats and attention as all the others before her!

  10. Oh, a landscape I think. I have a lovely one of a derelict oil rig in the Moray Firth in mist that would be perfect!

  11. I recently managed to get my hands on slides of my mum & dad when they first got together in the 60s so I would get one of these put on to canvas. Chantal

  12. Photo of the kids, we had one done a couple of years ago so would be nice to get a newer one done to show them off a bit more 🙂

  13. I would choose a picture of my three kids, John is 14 and the girls are 3 and 4 and i don't think there will be too many more opportunties to have them all together for a nice picture, as John feels he is getting too old and too cool for family photographs lol x

    followed and tweeted @cheeksdevil

  14. It would be so hard to choose! But if I was going to want to hang any picture up on my wall I guess it would be this one picture I have where AMAZINGLY! ALL four of my children look happy together and are all smiling at the camera! There are no snotty noses, no chocolate smeared tee-shirts, and none of them are attacking the others, they look like clean happy healthy children lol, and I would love to have a canvas made of this picture! xxx Great blog! 😀 x
