Plus Size Swimwear To Make Your Body Pop

Being nearly naked in swimwear on a beach, you want your body to look fabulous, so here are my favourite picks of swimwear for women – no matter your body shape. Because remember, it doesn’t matter what you wear, as long as you are comfortable in it, but it’s great when you have a beautifully fitting swimsuit to flatter your figure…

Two bikini tops: one with black straps and a pink and purple palm leaf pattern, and the other with a halter neck, turquoise background, and orange and yellow floral design from our vibrant plus size swimwear collection.
Best swimwear for a big bust
Don’t be scared to go up a cup size cos coverage is key when it comes to big boobs – no one wants one popping out when you jump in the pool and a fuller cup offers more support. Show off your shape but buy stretchy swimsuit styles that won’t dig in and create unsightly bulges. Try to go for tops in bra sizes as this means that they fit correctly to your bust.
Best swimwear for small boobs
If your frame is slender with narrow shoulders and hips and a smaller bust, show off your slim shape in a bikini and you can add volume to your hips and boobs with bright prints and flirty patterns. If you’re feeling brave bare more in a skimpy string bikini, but if not, a bandeau bikini top also look ace on those with a straight ‘up-and-down’ figure.
Two women's swimming costumes: one is a one-piece with orange, purple, and navy colour blocks and a halter neck; the other is a black plus size swim dress with a black-and-white leopard print top and tie detail at the front.
Best swimwear for a us with a rounder tum
The classic swimsuit is perfect if you’re looking for more coverage over your tummy area. Draw attention away from your tum in a swimsuit with side ruching detail. You could even try one pieces with control panels for extra support and to smooth out the body – there are so many on the high street right now and you’d never know they’ve got hidden control in them.
Best swimwear for larger thighs
Balance out your bottom-half by choosing patterns and detailing on the top with a dark coloured or plain bottom to draw the eye-line up. A swimdress will even cover the tops of your legs and make your body flow more, giving you shape.
But to be honest, it doesn’t really matter what you wear – bikini, tankini, swimsuit. As long as you’re comfortable, that’s all that matters…
