Going On A Dessert Date At Kaspa’s Leeds

A wall sign at Kaspa's Leeds reads "KASPA'S KING OF DESSERTS" in large, illuminated pink and white letters, crowned above the "K". Perfect spot for a dessert date, with two round ceiling lights hanging overhead.
It’s not often we get to go out as a family as my husband works nights and the kids are at school during the day so it’s a bit hit and miss as to when we have free time. Now the school holidays have hit, we took advantage of having some free days and opted to have a family date.
We chose none other than Kaspa’s to dine at. Well, I say dine at but Kaspa’s is actually a dessert house that offer the world’s favourite hot and cold desserts under one roof. And I mean, who doesn’t like dessert for dinner sometimes?!

Brightly lit dessert shop with glass display cases filled with colourful cakes and pastries, perfect for a pudding date. Staff are behind the counter, and shelves with jars line the back wall. A red carpet with stars adds charm at Kaspa's Leeds.
A row of bright pink and black retro-style diner booths with matching tables inside Kaspa's Leeds, featuring tiled floors and pink walls—perfect for a fun dessert date.
Housed in The Core Shopping Centre, Kaspa’s stands out from the crowd with their bright pink and black design. It looks exactly how you’d imagine an American Diner to look – it’s so quirky. We arrived, were shown to a table and given menus packed full of delectable goods.
Their menu is like it’s been sent down from heaven. Oodles of ice cream, waffles, crepes, cakes and milkshakes. Seriously, the fat person in me was so excited at the thought of visiting and getting to stuff my face full of yumminess.
After much time had passed and many mind changes, I went to order our desserts. And so, let’s start off with the ice cream sundaes.
A tall glass filled with layers of colourful ice cream, topped with whipped cream, green syrup, a wafer biscuit, and a rolled wafer stick—perfect for a dessert date at Kaspa's Leeds against a dark background.
Tropical Paradise has banana, Coconut and Mango ice cream scoops, with Kiwi, Strawberry and Pineapple fruit pieces. It’s topped with whipped cream, and a combination of Kiwi and Peach syrups which gives this fruity delight such a sweet kick.
A glass sundae dish filled with chocolate ice cream, topped with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, Ferrero Rocher chocolates, a wafer stick, and a decorative biscuit—perfect for a dessert date at Kaspa's Leeds, set on a dark table with pink booth seating behind.
Deciding to pick out a chocolatey one, we went for the Hazelnut Choc Deluxe Sundae which has amazingly irresistible hazelnut choc ice cream combined with fresh Vanilla ice cream. It has been topped off with milk chocolate flakes, Ferrero Rochers and luxury Choco-hazelnut sauce. Seriously, I’ve never tasted ice cream so nice before.
A golden-brown waffle cut into four quarters, served on a white plate with a drizzle of syrup and dusting of cinnamon—perfect for a dessert date at Kaspa's Leeds. A dollop of whipped cream with a hint of pink is in a small dish on the side.
To try out some of their other offerings, we next chose a Canadian Maple Waffle. Their fresh waffles are lightly dusted with cinnamon and drizzled with Canadian maple tree syrup. It was served with a side of ice cream (you could also choose cream if you wished) and the boys devoured this in no time.
A plate with a folded crêpe topped with sliced strawberries and drizzled with syrup, served with a side of whipped cream in a small square dish—perfect for a dessert date at Kaspa's Leeds.
Last up was the crepe – The Strawberries & Cream Crepe is a freshly baked crepe, served with fresh strawberry slices, drizzled with mouth-watering strawberry syrup and served with either whipped cream or fresh vanilla ice cream.
Overall, the whole trip was amazing. The beautiful decor, the lovely staff and the desserts – oh my gosh. There was literally so much. Their portions are huge so I’d maybe share next time we go (maybe not!).
