WTBW | Boden Outfit of the Day

When it comes to kids fashion, Boden is one of my favourites as it just oozes originality and beautiful patterns. Boden was founded in 1991 with menswear products with Mini Boden arriving in 1996, bring all of their beautiful designs to the market place. 
I regularly buying from Boden, especially for the boys, although I do also have a beautiful should bag from their too, and my husband hates the fact that I receive a mini catalogue from them every few months, with a discount code attached. He knows his wallet is going to get a workout that day!

So, when I noticed that I had kitted Joseph out in a full Boden outfit, I couldn’t resist snapping some photos so I could write about them.

First up, he is wearing the uber cute Seaside Adventures t-shirt which comes in 3 different colours and designs. I picked the grey marl, coastal design as I loved the seaside theme and pictured that it could go well with many different pairs of bottoms.

Made from 100% pure cotton jersey material, this t-shirt is super soft and wears so well. The shoulder popper placket opening means that I can get it over his head in a flash and the fit is perfect to Joseph’s size. 
The red, white and blue pictures on the front and bright and stand-outy which I love. Depicting coastal scenes in a lovely summery way. I thought this matched perfectly with Joseph’s Boden Star Patch Cord Trousers which is why I paired them together.

I bought these towards the end of last year and unfortunately, they don’t stock these any more which is a shame as I would have got them in every colour if I’d have known at the time. This pair is dark grey with satsuma stars. 
The elasticated waistband is not too tight and not too loose, it clings to Joseph perfectly. Made with soft cord, they look delightful on and even after being washed many times, they come out looking brand new with those orange stars still glowing brightly in the summer sun.

To finish off his look for the day, I teamed his outfit with a pair of Adidas Performance LK trainers from Spartoo which are just delightful in the white, core black and solar red colour-way. They are light but durable with the flexible EVA outsole giving a natural feel for little feet.

This outfit not only is made from comfortable and soft materials which are great for his skin and little feet, but it looks great too with beautiful patterns and coordinating colours.
