Ever walked into a room and forgotten what you’ve actually gone in for? I have. In fact, I do it all the time. It’s actually a really annoying trait I have. I’ll be wandering upstairs, going for something or other, get to the top step, and whatever it is just goes straight out of my head.
Apparently, two thirds of Brits forget why they’re walked into a room, that’s according to new research by Efamol, which also reveals that Brits are forgetting everyday things on a regular basis. With nearly half of people saying they would go to the fridge and forget why they’ve gone there, around 1-3 times per week. I must admit that I am in this category too.
Having a bad memory can be really hard sometimes. Forgetting people’s names can be quite embarrassing for myself and them too. It’s also quite irritating that I constantly forget my passwords. I mean, I do understand the need for upper and lower case text, numbers and special keys, to stop anyone from hacking, but when you need to remember these, it can be a pain.
So, it’s no surprise that at least once a month 35% of us have to reset passwords for online accounts, 12% needing to do so at least once a week.
Fish is obviously one of the best ways to get that extra Omega-3 fatty acid into your body, but if you struggle to hit the target of two portions per week (including one oily) recommended by the NHS, a food supplement such as
Efamol Brain Active Memory could be ideal to start taking this National Memory Day. Although do remember that food supplements cannot replace a varied diet and healthy lifestyle.
Efamol Brain Active Memory contains a carefully selected high strength fish oil that is especially rich in DHA, the most abundant Omega-3 fatty acid in the brain. With each capsule containing a full 250mg of sustainably sourced omega-3 DHA, the level which contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function plus Vitamin B12, Folic Acid and Phosphatidylserine.
DHA fish oil is great for brain performance and vitamin B12 contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system. This unique formulation also includes Ginkgo Biloba which may help maintain working memory with age decline and preserve cognitive function, giving you a supplement that can bring so much to the table.
I have been taking a daily Efamol Brain Active Memory for the past month, and even though I do sometimes struggle with my memory, I have remembered to take one each day, which is a step in the right direction, I guess.
Now, although food supplements should not be used a substitute for a balanced diet or healthy lifestyle, it is great to help your diet by adding in some extra vitamins and nutrients with the help of supplements. And remember you should consult your doctor, if you are taking any medication or have an existing health condition, are trying to become pregnant, are pregnant, are breastfeeding or have a history of epilepsy, before taking this product.
Efamol Brain Active Memory, RRP £10.99 for a months supply, is available from
Wassen, Amazon, Boots the Chemists, health food stores and independent pharmacies.
And so, to celebrate today being National Memory Day, I have a 3 months supply of Efamol Active Memory to give away to one winner. The winner will receive 3 packs of Efamol Active Memory, to give them 1 capsule a day, for 90 days.

Literally today, I was at my Mums last night and I got on 2 buses home today, with 2 overnight bags, a 7 year old and a dog. Because the bus is £5 and a taxi is £20. Felt really pleased with myself until I got to the door and realised I left my keys at my Mums house… Ended up spending the £20 getting the taxi to drop off the keys. So much for that!
