Megan Markle’s Favourite Breakfast Recipe

Having a breakfast packed full of flavour and powerful antioxidants is the way to start off the day on the right track, and Meghan Markle credits her healthy lifestyle to the Californian diet and describes her favourite way to start the day, recommending an “Açaí bowl, clean cleanse shake, or a green juice.”
With her upcoming arrival into motherhood, Meghan has revealed her £4 go-to daily breakfast routine, that’s likely to keep her looking and feeling great even on those late stage pregnancy days; a homemade Sambazon Açaí Bowl made with Brazilian Açaí super fruit berries.
And they’re so easy to make too…
A colourful smoothie bowl, perfect as a breakfast recipe, is topped with bananas, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, shredded coconut, and granola. A wooden spoon labelled "SAMBAZON" rests in the bowl on a grey textured background.

1. Blend one frozen Sambazon Açaí packet with 1/3 cup of almond milk, 1/2 banana, a handful of frozen berries.
2. This should be thick so add almond milk sparingly as you go.
3. Top with coconut flakes, fresh berries, sliced banana, a drizzle of manuka honey and sprinkle of bee pollen.
Serve immediately for the perfect breakfast.
Certified organic as well as Fairtrade, Sambazon is a simple and delicious way to have positive impact on the future as they invest into the community by building local schools and hospitals as well as picking açaí berries by hand and using every part of the açaí berry with the seeds either being handcrafted by local artisans into jewellery or used as fuel for brick and tile makers.
The Sambazon Açaíbowls which are prepared to-go in Whole Foods Piccadilly, Kensington, Richmond & Fulham and Crussh branches across London. Or you can make your own as Sambazon Original Blend Superfruit Pack is available in the freezer aisle at Whole Foods Market and Ocado.

  1. I've been making breakfast oats, which is oats, 0% Greek Yoghurt, and the same fruit on top. Leave to soak up in the fridge overnight and you have a lovely breakfast in the morning. I'm going to swap it around now I've seen this and add this to my breakfast.
