Lockdown Style Doesn’t Need To Be Boring

I think we all felt the same at the beginning of lockdown. A chance to stay at home, as we’d been told to by the government, and sit in our pyjamas all day whilst snacking and trying our best to work from home. But as someone who worked from home before lockdown, I can tell you that this doesn’t work for too long.

Staying at home might sound like a blessing, but not making an effort for that long can cause us to be impaired mentally. Staying in your pyjamas gives you that excuse not to go out, not to need to do anything, and can mean you end up feeling rubbish.

So I’ve opted to make sure to always get dressed every day, to make sure I’m making that effort, and am then ready for the day, and able to go out whenever essentially needed. And I mean, I’m not talking fancy outfits, and high fashion, but loungewear that is comfortable for wearing at home, but also suitable for going outside too.
And I have to tell you that I’ve been doing a great job of choosing some nice clothing to wear. A short sleeve Boxy pink loungewear set is one of my favs. It’s a great new way to chill in style. The rose colourway is ideal for anyone with a penchant for pink, and the short sleeved style is perfect for this warm weather, without leaving you feeling too cool, as it comes co-ordinating with the cropped straight leg joggers.

For the cooler days, loungewear tracksuits like this grey long sleeve Boxy cuffed joggers set are perfect. Looking luxe and laid back, this grey long sleeved top comes paired with some comfy joggers. You can wear it indoors with a fluffy slipper combo, or sport with some super white trainers for a stylish new look whilst out and about.
But then there are the very hot days, and since I’m all for co-ords at the moment, I picked out this Khaki Oversized Hoodie & Shorts loungewear set. This is actually available in many colours but I just love the khaki vibes with this one. Featuring a sleeveless hoodie with matching drawstring pull shorts, it’s so comfy to wear and the shorts are the perfect length to stop any thigh rub.

Whatever you pick, it’s safe to say that there is plenty of loungewear to give comfy but stylish vibes…

  1. We make use of old clothes when we aren't going out anywhere. Any clothes that are well worn and not good enough to go out in can have their life extended by years if you wear them around the house.
