I think getting outdoors, come rain or shine, is so important and so as a family, we try to get outdoors as much as possible. The boys adore anything wheeled and so we love getting the bikes out and going for a ride.
For J, it was always hard as he is too young to ride with pedals and so we started looking around for a suitable balance bike so that he could join in too. Kiddimoto is the UK’s original balance bike company and they have a huge range of balance bikes to teach children balance and the coordination skills necessary to prepare them for a lifetime of cycling without the need for stabilisers.
Since the success of the Kiddimoto superbike, they have introduced a variation of the wooden balance bike called The Scrambler Balance Bike. There are a number of differences with the style of this balance bike compared with the original superbike. The main one being the tyres, the scrambler has knobbly tyres to ensure grip, designed around off-road motocross bikes.
Coming in 3 different colours, these include red, blue and orange, each of the bikes can be matched with accessories such as a variety of helmets and gloves. This stunning wooden balance bikes is made from birch plywood from sustainable forests and has pneumatic tyres and is suitable for ages 2-5 years. I was actually worried about J riding it at first but he took to it well, being able to balance it with his legs straight away and it didn’t take long for him to be able to glide along the floor with his feet off the ground.
I like that it teaches children the correct balancing method so that when it comes to riding a regular bike, they wont rely on stabilisers to keep them upright. The Scrambler is an amazing balance bike and will be thoroughly enjoyed for years to come!

My children love being outdoors too, he looks like he's really enjoying this bike, I was thinking of getting one for my daughter as she hates her pedal bike but the last few weeks she's got to grips with pedalling forwards instead of backwards and is using it more often xXx
My boys had balance bikes, they loved them. When they came to riding proper bikes they needed no practice!!!! Just had the balance straight away 🙂

This would be perfect for my two year old son. He has a bike with stabilisers but still hasn't mastered how to ride it. This would be great at the moment and it's lovely how you can personalise them x
