Gaining Body Confidence With Hunkemöller

 

As someone who suffers really badly with my self-confidence, going on holiday to Spain and wearing a bikini whilst there, would have never normally have been on the agenda. Usually, a swimsuit would have sufficed, and I’d have still been conscious about my body whilst wearing it. 

 

But over the past few months, I have been working on my self-confidence loads. Going to the gym to help me lose weight, firm up, eating better, and just trying to love myself for me. It’s been such a hard journey, and I’m still not finished, but it meant that when we flew to Spain a fortnight ago, I actually wore a bikini. 

 

 

 

I was sent this gorgeous Hunkemöller Blogger Caro_e_Reef Gem Triangle Bikini to wear whilst away. The Hunkemöller website is very good for giving measurements, and offering advice on which sizes to buy to fit. I check against their size guide, and for someone who if an E/F cup, like me, the size L bikini top is advised as the triangle cups are bigger then to offer better coverage, although in hindsight I should have gone for the XL to stop my bust from trying to escape. 

The rose gold detail is very much my style and the necklace makes for an added touch of gorgeousness – you can remove the necklace if it isn’t your thing though. It is fastened at the back and halterneck, with tie closures meaning that it can fit to any size. I could fasten it to make it comfortable for me. 

To match the triangle bikini, you can choose from 2 options – Tanga bottoms, or Brazilian bottoms. I opted for the Tanga as these gave more coverage on the bottom. I went for a medium in these as I am between sizes 12-14 in bottoms. 

The bikini is stunning – so comfortable to wear, and fits really well. The light pink and rose gold design is so stylish and the added necklace just makes the bikini look so unique. It made me feel like a million dollars as I was wearing it – and that’s the important thing. If the person wearing it feels good, they ooze confidence.
