The UK has a lot of amazing sights to offer. Dramatic, adventurous backdrops litter the landscape and they all deserve to be explored. And if you already live in the UK, it’s going to be a lot cheaper to travel around compared to out! 

However, as a parent taking your family on holiday, you’re going to want to visit a child friendly place too. Somewhere packed with things for the kids to do, meaning the adults can sit and relax for a bit; it’s your summer holiday too! Blackpool

Blackpool has long been a favourite for families up and down the UK. Blackpool Tower, the Pleasure Beach, the aquarium and zoo, as well as coastal favourites like fish and chip shops and souvenirs stands, can all be found within a 10 minute drive of each other. You could even walk the distance, if you’d like to really tire the kids out for the day! Whilst you’re in Blackpool you’ll also be able to witness the illuminations that light up each night, which has always been a popular sight amongst young kids and older adults alike.

You might not think of North Yorkshire as one of the top places for adventure, but seeing as it’s the biggest county in the country, there’s a lot to see and do if you decide to visit.
