Pink Clove | I Love a Good Patterned Print in Clothing

When it comes to buying clothing, I'm usually a lover of plain patterns and basic colours so I don't stand out from the crowd. But I realised that if I'm wanting to gain body confidence in my own skin, then I need to make an effort, and the fact that some patterns can actually help disguise those bit of the body that we have problems with.

I have recently been sent a couple of items from Pink Clove to show off how you can wear patterns beautifully. Pink Clove is home to a fantastic range of clothing in plus sizes - around 16-28, although a few items are available in 14 too. They take latest influential trends from the catwalks and redesign these to flatter the fuller figure.

First up, I received the Ria Tribal Print Wrap Front Playsuit in blue. In this gorgeous tribal print design, this playsuit holds in all the right places. The wrap front gives a plunging aspect to the bust whilst bringing it in at the waist to really give a flattering shape.

The long sleeves are perfect for those of us who don't like showing our arms off much too. And it's also great for people, like me, who love their legs and don't mind showing them off with a nice pair of shoes to finish!

The Tyler Plunge Striped Maxi Dress is also a good one for showing off those pins too, with its very long slit down one side and a plunging neck line if you're up for showing off a little bust. The striped design takes away any focus towards your body and shows the right contours in the right places.

I personally think this is the perfect summer dress, even though it's long. The thin material is breathable, flattering and the short sleeves give you more ways to show the flesh too.

And if you're wearing either of these outfits, you need a good pair of shoes to show off your pins with pride. I picked out these Truffle Collection Wide Fit Ankle Strap Wedge Sandals in nude as they will match with most outfits.

The ankle strap fastening brings them up the leg slightly and the wedge heel gives you height, and any shoe with a heel automatically adds definition to the legs, which is always a plus.

I must say that I am very happy with my picks. The way they flatter my shape, hold in the right places, and wash really good. It'll will be nice when summer comes round and I can get to wearing them more often.
