It's horrible being on a tight budget. It means we can't afford to take our boys out places that often. Thomas doesn't mind though, as long as he has his scooter and the weathers ok he's fine. We spend a lot of time outside scooting around, even in this cold weather, just wrap up warm and we're ready to go.
Going all over for some fresh air, on hills I pull him with his Scoot'n'Pull and everywhere else he does it himself. I think Thomas likes the independence of being able to choose where we go and enjoys telling me, 'left mum' 'right mum'
After his ride on his scooter we come back to the garden for a bit. Usually playing on everything but in this weather all his toys are put away in the shed so today it was just the swing. Thomas loves his swing, always asking to go higher and higher.
It's not always about how much money you spend or how many places you've been to. Sometimes it's just about spending time together, even if it's just in cold damp Leeds right near our house. As long as we can make our own fun, that's all that matters.
I totally agree it's not all about how much money you spend or how many places you've been to....It's the spending time together....I've had some of the best times with my girls at parks or out in the garden all costing nothing!! :)
ReplyDeleteIt doesnt make a bean of difference to little ones where you go, it only matters that you do it with them. They remember the fun they have with you, not the location. You look like you are having a blast!

When my sister and I were little, we always found different things to do in our backyard. We really had fun playing around with each other and our friends. You don't always need money to be entertained.
