WTBW | Blade & Rose Leggings

When it comes to clothing for my sons, I like to be a little different. I hate that people try to dictate what they can and can't wear. I just want them to be comfortable and, for J especially, I like him to wear cute patterns and designs.

So when I saw Blade & Rose and found out that you could get leggings, and not only were they beautifully designed leggings, but they were perfect for boys too, I couldn't wait to get a couple pairs for J to wear.

Blade & Rose is a leading British children's clothing brand specialising in a trendsetting range of leggings and clothing accessories. Created in 2010, each piece of the collection is unique and has their trademark design on the bum.

A major component of the development was to ensure that the quality of the fabric was durable, functional, would wash well and most importantly, that was soft and kind to children's delicate skin. And that's one thing I love about these leggings, they are super soft and very stretchy so are kind to J's skin and will last ages.

We were sent two pairs of Blade & Rose leggings for J. The Oheo Owl Baby Leggings and a pair of Crazy Cat Baby Leggings.

The Oheo owl leggings are so pretty. In gorgeous turquoise and aqua striped colours, the leggings have Oheo the owl on the bum and Blade & Rose's name across the top. Made with 75% Combed Cotton 20% Nylon 5% Spandex, they are a perfect fit for J and mean that he can look stylish with his super cute leggings on, whilst being comfortable too.

The Crazy cat leggings are just wonderful. With one black leg and the other a mix of cream and black stripes, I love how it works to create a different look. The crazy cat is on the bum and is a favourite of J's. Although I must admit that he may have de-kegged himself a few times just to see that cat!

Overall, I am so impressed with the quality of the leggings and the size of them. The stretch real well but also cling to J's legs so as to not fall down. They wash really well and haven't shrunk at all in the washing machine or tumble dryer.

I am so glad there there is this range of leggings that are suitable for both boys and girls - that are not gender specific - as it means that J can wear these cute designs. Now I just need to go back and get a few more pairs for him so he's kitted out for time to come.
