Bearfaced Groceries Christmas Bonanza Box

With the night's drawing in and the temperature dropping, it is the season to indulge in deliciously calorific food washed down with a lovely glass of mulled wine. But at Bearfaced Groceries, they understand just how important it is to keep on top of your eating goals whilst still managing to thoroughly manage to enjoy yourself.

That's why their specialist team have created several bundles of nutritious and complementing products to ensure that all of their customers are satisfied over the festive season. They offer award winning lean meat, finest fish and the freshest fruit and vegetables that money can buy from their specially selected, local suppliers who promise to deliver the very best produce possible, ensuring high quality at all times.

Bearfaced Groceries is an independent online grocery retailer who offers premium quality produce, locally sourced and handpicked to provide customers with fresh food straight to their door. Bearfaced Groceries has no hidden artificial ingredients or preservatives.

To try out their amazing food, we were sent one of their Christmas Bonanza Boxes which hosts a fantastic selection of festive, locally sourced delicious produce which was perfect for this Christmas.

The box included:

1× 2kg Turkey Boneless Crown
1× Each Brussel Sprouts Stalk
1× 1 Pack Swede
1× 500g Chipolata Sausages
1× 2 Pack XL White Onions
1× 20g Bay Leaf (Bunch)
1× 250g Cranberry Sauce
1× 1kg (approx 4 - 5) Parsnips
1× 100g Rosemary (Bunch)
1× 75cl Prosecco, RIONDO (11% ABV)
2× 250g Streaky Bacon - Unsmoked
2× 1kg White Potatoes
1× 500g Mixed Chantenay Carrots
2× 1 of Lemons
1× 1 head Broccoli

The box was well thought out and included everything you would need for a Christmas lunch, even the fizz. All we needed to add were the Yorkshire puddings to make it a proper Yorkshire Christmas dinner.

The turkey crown was huge, and I mean massive, enough to feed us all with meat to spare for sandwiches the next day. Even the vegetable selection was plentiful. With the contents of the box boiling, roasting and being drank, we sat back to enjoy a local sourced seasonal meal to die for.

What I like about Bearfaced Groceries is that they don't just send you a box and leave you to cook everything, they have a website packed full of recipes, from how to cook the turkey crown to perfection, to the crispiest rosemary roast potatoes. They help the whole way along.

Overall I was thoroughly impressed with the box and all of the contents. The freshness of it all, the quality and the sheer amount we received. Definitely a box that I would try again!
