WTBW | Rockin' Baby Out of Africa

I always love writing about certain topics, children's clothing being one. I just love the designs, and patterns, the choice, and so, I decided to add another bow to my ever growing blog string. Today sees the start of my brand new feature, What The Boys Wore, or WTBW for short.

You can see it up there, at the top, it has its very own little tab. And what better way to start off that with one of the most selfless brands I have ever had the privilege to work with. Rockin' Baby.

Rockin' Baby was founded in 2002 to provide slings to mothers around the world. They now also offer the stylish slings alongside their beautiful childrenswear. With their mission of one-for-one being at the forefront of anything they do.

If you haven't heard of Rockin' Baby, then you are really missing out. Their super ethical ethos is admirable and their You Buy, We Give policy means that even the poorest of children have clothing on their back. For every item of clothing sold, Rockin' Baby match and donate to children in need, in the poorest of countries.

Their new Spring/Summer collection oozes warm tones, and summer sunshine. You can see that so much detail has been put in to each range to make sure that they suit the season. The Out Of Africa range is just that. Jungle colours, leafy patterns, African animal prints.

The Base Animal All Over Print Bodysuit has so many pointers towards Africa and pairs perfectly with the Jack Denim Dungarees.

So, starting off with the bodysuit, this is a beautiful, bright blue, with the darker blue trim. With green leafy trees in full bloom and has lions and zebras making friends in the design. Made from super soft cotton with high quality poppers, this bodysuit is a great fit and wears so well. It has the obligatory, easy turn-down shoulders, for unexpected baby explosions,  and poppers at the bottom to stop baby from escaping from their nappy.

I teamed the outfit with these bright red Biomecanics from Poppy Red which I wrote about here. I think they just add an extra dimension and look beautiful against the blues in the outfit. Now, back to the outfit itself.

I love this bodysuit because it is so beautiful, it can be worn on its own, in its own right. Bodysuits are usually a little bland and boring, but this one could be worn solo on a warm day and the pattern alone would stand out from the crowd.

This bodysuit is a fun and versatile piece that you can mix and match with so many other pieces in this range, but for me, it just looks adorable with the Jack Denim Dungarees.

Perfect for roamin' climbin' and runnin', every little one needs a pair of trusty dungarees for playtime. Made in durable soft terry cloth fabric, they look like denim, but they don't feel like it. They are soft, comfortable and so, so lovely on the eye.

Finished with a contrast check lining for the shoulder straps, a roomy bib pocket and roll up hems with popper fastenings so they can even be worn in the warm weather. The shoulder straps can alter to give a better fit and the little pocket detail to the sides makes them even more adorable.

To put it simply, I love Rockin' Baby and their beautiful ranges of clothing. Not only do they offer bright and adorable patterns, but they give to the people in need and deserve massive respect for that too! To find these items and to see the whole Rockin' Baby range, check out the Rockin' Baby website, where you can also find out more about their Child2Child campaign.
