Win | Lonely Planet New Activity Series Bundle

As it's nearly itting the summer time, we all get the joy of planning our summer holidays. Getting to dream of all those amazing places we could visit, what we could see, do, eat, amazing! But of course, when you have kids, it does make things a little harder.

As soon as you get seated in the car, on the train or on the plane, you get the comment 'are we there yet', 'how much longer', oh and the worst one 'I'm bored'. So,with thanks to Lonely Planet Kids, you can now banish the travel blues with their new activity series.

Launched just this month, the activity series features 3 books that are sure to keep boredom at bay for children aged between 5 and 12. The Lonely Planet Kids activity books are packed full of creative challenges and inventive games which will keep the whole family entertained when travelling.

The first book in the range is called Boredom Buster: Games for the road and is just packed full of games that are perfect for the road. With word games, board games, guessing games, counting games, trivia games, memory games and more, Boredom Buster will keep the children – and the whole family – entertained long after you reach your destination.  No props are necessary – everything you need for a journey full of fun is in this book.

Up next is the My Travel Journal: Never forget an adventure which is a beautiful journal, with a difference, that you can keep all of your memories in. Not only can you note down everything that you have experienced, but there is space to draw the view from your hotel window, create the ultimate holiday playlist, or make the city skyline from your ticket stubs. The possibilities are endless,

With My Travel Journal, you’ll never have to forget an adventure.  Part holiday diary, part scrapbook, part sketchbook, My Travel Journal is the perfect way for young travellers to record their holidays.
With lists to complete, collages to create, scenes to sketch and loads more fill-in fun, My Travel Journal will help children remember their trip for ever.

Lastly, and most importantly, is the My Family Travel Map: A fold-out, fact-filled poster to complete. I adore this as you can put yourself on the map and turn your family’s journeys into a work of art with the My Family Travel Map. This giant map poster includes marker stickers to show where you live, where you've been and where you'd like to go.

There are transport stickers to show how you arrived, creature stickers to highlight any wonderful wildlife you spotted while you were away as well as heart and star stickers to mark up those places that are particularly important to you. You get to create a map that is totally personal to you and your family.
