Nuby SureGrip Tableware Range

Remember when you had a little newborn and dreamt about the weaning stage. Getting to feed your little baby, giving them new tastes and seeing them grow independent as they finally learn to feed themselves. Then it happens...

And you're left wondering why you ever decided to buy that cream carpet as your little darling has just thrown their entire spaghetti bolognese on the floor... yeah that.

It is actually very hard work at meal times and trying to get your baby to eat their food whilst warm, without throwing it on the floor and constantly tipping meals over themselves and you too.

Well, now you no longer have to worry as Nuby have brought out their brand new SureGrip range of tableware. Made with inspiration from silicone bakeware which has an awesome grip and is damage proof. A perfect material to help turn messy mealtimes into an enjoyable experience for all involved.

The best part, no matter how much your baby tries to throw and attack their SureGrip tableware, it will stay firmly in place on the highchair or table, until you decide to remove it any way.

With stain resistant and insulating qualities, the SureGrip range will keep food warmer for longer which is great as we all know just how long little ones like to take with their food. What's more, the whole range is oven and microwave safe so you can cook and serve straight from it.

Being a #NubyUKBrandRep, we have been lucky to get to try out this brand new range of tableware. So Joseph has been giving them a thorough going over to show just how they work, and more importantly, if they do in fact work to keep food from being launched into the air.

First up, is the Miracle Mat & Plate. This is a plate and base in one with one large section for eating. With enough space for a full meal, Joseph enjoyed using the mat and it stuck securely to his tray so that he could not remove it at all.

The Suction Bowl has an easy grip handle for mum and dad to hold and is very deep so can hold a lot inside. We use it regularly for breakfast porridges and desserts as the big bowl easily holds runny food with ease. The suction is solid and so Joseph has had no accidents at all with his breafasts, which is great for mummy and the carpets.

From 12 months of age, the Suction Plate is a great way for little ones to eat on a plate, just like mum and dad. Again, with immense suction, the plate stays put on the surface so baby can eat without the worry of their food going flying.

Just to show you how great the suction on the SureGrip range is, I made the video above, with me, trying to pull it from the side. It's amazing how strong it holds without coming loose.

So, as you can see, we have enjoyed trying out the new Nuby SureGrip range and showing off just how great they are at keeping food on the table rather than all around the room. My little bruiser can no longer throw his plate across the floor and now gets food that is warm, no matter how long he takes to eat his food.

You can find pop to the Nuby website to find out more information about the SureGrip range.

  4. Sounds like you've found a good product that works well for you - great when that happens. I will have to look out for them later this year after baby 2 is born. Are they expensive? Can you buy them individually, or are they a set?
