Mum Tries | Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moisture

As a mum of 3 children, I don't often get much time to think about myself. I usually go for the, dragged through a hedge backwards look. Don't get me wrong, I do like to dress up every now and then, but on the most part, I just tie my hair back, slap on some foundation and off I go.

But I started to realise that I need no at least look after my hair a little more. It seemed like an endless cycle of colouring my hair and then tying it up to hide the fact that it's so dry and brittle. You see, I colour my hair a lot.

As an opposite to most people, I colour my hair darker as, being a natural blonde, I hated having such light hair so opted to go a slightly darker shade. This means that now, my hair is feeling the effects of not only continuous colouring, every 6 weeks, but the hormones of having 3 children also.

When I got the chance to give the brand new Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moisture, I jumped at the chance, to see if it could actually give my hair that huge lift that was much needed.

Miracle Moist is the most popular range from Aussie with the 3 Minute Miracle Moisture completing the range. Moisture is probably the most sought after quality for women when choosing hair care products and so it is great to see a range that focuses on this.

So, to see if Aussie was able to help my flailing hair, I was sent Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo, Conditioner and 3 Minute Miracle Moisture to give my hair that pamper that it much needed. Made with macadamia nut oil, which is said to rescue dry and damaged hair, this brand new product is a deeply nourishing, hydrating treatment, rescuing dry, parched hair from every day wear and tear.

I got to trying the product out and the first thing I noticed was the scent. It didn't smell like normal hair care products, instead, sweet and inviting, almost edible. I massaged in the shampoo and then rinsed thoroughly in preparation for the next step. I applied a small amount of the conditioner to my hair and gently manoeuvred it around my locks, leaving it for a few minutes before rinsing it.

Now usually this is where I would stop, a shampoo and conditioner and then off I'd go with blasting my hair with the blow-dryer, but the new 3 Minute Miracle Moisture was now in play and so my hair got to have some top dollar treatment. The feather-light, yet rich formula glided onto my hair without weighing it down at all. Infusing moisture straight into strands, giving that much needed hydration.

Straight away my hair felt smoother, super-conditioned and healthy. I gently towel dried my hair before finishing with a blow-dry and could see the difference after one use. My hair looked smoother, not as frizzy and dare I say it, quite nice.

Prior to use                                                                        2 weeks of use
Using the Aussie Miracle Moist for a full 2 weeks, I have noticed a significant difference in my hair. Not only is my hair not as dry, but there isn't as much frizzy-ness as well. When I first started using the Aussie range, I wasn't expecting loads. I mean, who would think that using a certain shampoo, conditioner and deep treatment can make so much difference.

I am actually surprised at how much better my hair feels. Just nourished, it has some oomph about it now. It makes me want to look after my hair more, to wear it down and be proud of my luscious locks. And why the hell not!

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moisture launches in Boots stores in February 2016 and has an RRP £4.99. You find more information about the Miracle Moist range on the Aussie website
