Aldi Bedroom SpecialBuys

It's safe to say that I am a lover of Aldi and their SpecialBuy events. I am always checking it out in store and online to see what is coming up next and love the browse their ranges to see if I can pick up any bargains. This week is the turn of the bedroom. Aldi have a whole host of bedroom essentials on sale this week and sent me a few of the items out for us to put to the test.

Feels Like Down Range
The Feels Like Down Kingsize Mattress Protector adds an extra layer of comfort while helping to protect and prolong the life of your mattress and is super comfy to sleep on as it's made from quilted microfibre. Priced at £6.79, it is a bargain and a great way or protecting your mattress.

Another from the Feels Like Down range is the Kingsize Duvet from Slumberdown which is £15.99. Coming in at 10.5tog, it is perfect for this weather at the moment. Not a big hefty, heavy duty duvet, but still warm enough for a cool nights.

The 4 pack of pillows (£12.99) complete the Feels Like Down Range and are super comfy, huge and squishy and are soft to the touch. These 3 items not only are a steal at those prices, but they are so comfy to sleep on, giving a bit of luxurious comfort to bedtime.

We then needed bedding to finish off the range.

Covers and Sheets
Receiving an Easy Care Fitted Sheet (£5.99) and a Printed Duvet Set (£12.99). The sheet is fitted so holds perfectly to the mattress, available in cream, pink, white, grey, blue and purple. It is quick drying and because it's easy care, there is no need to iron it once washed.

The duvet cover comes in 6 designs so there is something for everyone and every design is reversible for you've got 2 styles in one. I'd pointed out that our bedroom is black, purple and cream and so Aldi sent us the gorgeous lilac designed one. This is a floral design but has a little pattern so is not overbearing for people who aren't fans of floral. One side is darker in colour and the other a little lighter so you can choose which side suits your room best.

All the items above are available in single, double and kingsize (pillows come in either a 2 pack or 4 pack) so you can kit out all your bedrooms at Aldi. Make sure you get down there quick though as the bedroom Specialbuys event is on now and you don't want to miss out on the great prices.

Visit the Aldi website to get the lowdown on the next SpecialBuy events and see what's coming up next.

  4. Fantastic prices at Aldi, I'm allergic to feathers but I love the feel of down, so definitely going to have to give these a whirl, so cheap for a King duvet!
