The Cuddle Box

The Cuddle Box is a family run business located in the Cotswold's supplying individual baby gifts in sturdy keepsake boxes. The company was created in July 2013 when they realised, that although there were a lot of hampers on the market, there wasn't one that came in a box that can be kept as a keepsake.

Each of boxes is made up with a selection of items, starting from only £25, and come in either blue, pink or unisex cream. We were offered a Cuddle Box to review since Joseph had just been born and here's what we thought.

We received the Cuddle box, Baby Boy Gift Box B (as named on their site), which is priced at £35 and is perfect as a gift for a newborn as not only does it contain some super cute items inside, but the box can be saved and used as a keepsake box for years to come.

Upon receiving the box, I unfastened the organza and satin edged ribbon and peeked at what was inside. A little handwritten card was on the top of the gifts, which were all sealed up with tissue paper. Inside, the box contained:

  • A super soft ‘Prince’ blanket
  • An extra soft comforter
  • 1 pair of super cute blue shoes
  • A ‘Prince’ photo frame in blue and white
  • A gorgeous soft blue baby teddy
All lovingly placed into the box and set out for me to fawn over as I peered inside.

The card is lovely and just gives it that personal touch if you are buying as a gift for someone and the little leaflet has the companies details on so you can pop along and view everything for yourself as well as liking their social media pages too.

The photo frame is fab, around the same size as the box in size and has the word 'Prince' across the front. I can't wait till we get Joseph's birth photos printed so that I can put one in here and show it off in his nursery. I adore that the blanket coordinates with the frame too as it has the words 'Handsome Prince' embroidered on the front of it. So soft and cuddly to the touch and washes well too. Joseph loves snuggling into it for his nap time.

I find comforters a great invention. Not only do babies get to have their own little mini blanket to cuddle up to, but they have a teddy head on them so that they actually get something to snuggle with and the little teddy is so sweet too to add in to the mix as are the socks which are just adorable. with a shoes design on them and little laces, Joseph looks super cute in them.

Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with The Cuddle Box. I like that you can pick a box that suits your needs, budget and style and even add little extras too if required. I also love that the box is so hard-wearing and durable that it can be saved and used as a memory box, to keep all those little items inside that you want to cherish forever.
