Christmas at Asda

Asda always have a huge range of items for big events, and Christmas is no different. A whole range of gifts, decorations and much more to get yourself ready for the festivities.

What's the one thing you drink at Christmas to keep you toasty warm, and snuggly over? No, not mulled wine, but yummy hot chocolate with marshmallows on top. The gorgeous hot chocolate kit (£6) comes with everything you need to make a yummy treat of hot choccie, as well as including the mug to drink from.

I am a huge Christmas fan and go a bit mental when it comes to decorating my house and this gorgeous gingerbread house candle fits in perfectly with my mental Christmas d├ęcor. Priced at £5 it is quite a substantial size for a candle and looks fab. It has great detail in the windows, doors, snow etc and looking stunning. Although it is a candle, I don't think I'll actually be lighting it as then that would ruin the gorgeous house and it looks great as more of an ornament sitting on my dining table.

When it comes to decorating our tree, I have a strict red and gold policy. They are our main colours and I like to stay within that keeping. It is also a very childish tree, most things are suitable for young children and it isn't very formal at all. I like to celebrate Christmas for the children and think that they should help with the decorating of the tree, this means having child friendly baubles that wont break.

The pine cone and berry bauble is only £2 and looks fab on our winter wonderland tree. The pine cone style is great for Christmas trees and it comes with little red berries and a snow kind of frosting to give a festive edge.

We also received a cute soft fox decoration which retails at £2. The festive fox has its own tartan Christmas hat and a bell which jungles when it moves. I quite like the idea of having some soft, plush tree items too as well as the usual baubles. Lastly, we got 2 cute reindeer hangers which are £1 each. These are totally perfect for children and look great on the tree. There are a selection of this variety to pick from too from the reindeer's to gingerbread men and presents.

The Christmas ranges are available instore and on the Asda website now.
