Finding shampoo and hair treatments that are suitable for your hair and great for the environment is hard work.
The ones that are better for one are worse for the other.
So when I heard about O'Right, I couldn't wait to give it a try and write about it as the products just fascinated me.

You see, O'Right is not just simply a bottle of haircare product, but is is environmentally friendly, even the bottle has its own surprise.

O'Right is on a mission to protect our planet from ourselves. They hold the belief that we must always treat the environment well and as long as you put in efforts, you can turn ordinary into extraordinary.

There are 3 components to explaining about O'Right products, the packaging, the contents and the Tree In A Bottle.

The Packaging
O'Right put their green concepts directly into their products. Everything from the materials, ingredients, designs, activities to business processes are sustainable and non-impactful, this includes the packaging of the products too.

You see, everything about them are biodegradable. From the soy ink printed labels to the boxes which are at least 80% made of recycled paper, you can even bury the bottles once they are empty and they will degrade within 12 months.

Everything is biodegradable, but it doesn't stop there. O'Right go above and beyond helping the environment by helping to regrow it too.

The Product
Every single product that O'Right makes and sells are natural, pure and sustainable. They want to reduce their impact on the environment, but still deliver a quality product. They are free from Sulfates, Phthalates, Thickeners, Parabens, Ethylene oxide, Formaldehyde, and Colourants. This is why they produce the world's greenest shampoo, made from 96% Natural Ingredients

The Golden Rose product that I received are for colour treated, damaged hair. According to O'Right, it instantly seals colour and nourishes coloured hair. Made with selected golden rose essential oil, Wasabi extract, certified organic foaming agents and botanical colour care formula, it gently cleanses hair, preserves the hair colour , radiance, and leaves colour treated hair elastic and shiny whilst the conditioner nourishes and creates silky, smooth hair.

The Golden Rose Oil, repairs hair cuticles and replenishes lost hair moisture to restore the tightness and gloss. The oil prolongs the treatment effects of the shampoo and conditioner with innovative micron technology which means that it can be absorbed easily without that oily feeling.

Tree In A Bottle
I've bet you have never heard of this before. That's because O'Right sell the worlds first Tree In A Bottle. Embedded into the bottom of the Golden Rose and the Green Tea shampoos are seeds. Yes, that's right, seeds.

Basically, when you have finished with your shampoo, you can plant the whole bottle into your garden. Over a year, the bottle will be decomposed, giving extra nutrients to the seeds and helping them to grow. So really, it is exactly as it sounds, A Tree in a Bottle.

Just to give an extra environmentally friendly nudge, you also get a piece of O'Right seed paper (as shown in the photos) in the box which contains the Golden Rose Oil. This seed paper can also be buried into the ground too, box and all.

I am really loving using these products. Not only have they given my hair a bright shine, but the dullness has gone. It feels softer too and, even when I blow dry my hair, the oil leaves my hair smooth.

I have noticed that the shampoo is more a watery consistency than usual shampoo but this doesn't bode a problem at all, it just takes a little longer and more massaging into the scalp for it to get foamy. The conditioner doesn't actually feel soft at all when I put it on, but after keeping it on my hair for 3 minutes though, it washes off easily, de-tangling my hair and leaving it smooth and easy to brush.

They are more expensive than other products but for the fact that they are wonderful and help to protect and restore the environment, I think they are worth it.

You can find the products on the O'Right website where you can also find out more information about the products.
