Easter Treats at Asda

Easter, Disney, Star Wars, Asda, Monsters University, DVD, Cutlery, Toys, Gifts, Review, Yorkshire Blog, Mummy Blogging, Parent Blog,

My boys love watching cartoons and films and so when we were sent a range of items from Asda, their Easter range, I couldn't wait to show them.

Thomas is a huge fan of Star Wars. Where I prefer the more up to date films, Thomas prefers the older ones and will sit for hours watching them. He, many times, has asked if he could have a 'life saver', actually known as the light saber and so you can guess his excitement when I received a set of 2 characters from the series.

More as a collectable items, these figures are perfect for displaying in any little boys bedroom. Thomas loves them and keeps getting them to fight each other but of course, the good guys always win.

Easter, Disney, Star Wars, Asda, Monsters University, DVD, Cutlery, Toys, Gifts, Review, Yorkshire Blog, Mummy Blogging, Parent Blog,

We also received the Disney DVD, Monsters University. This is a prequel to the original Monsters Inc. and is set at the time that the characters are learning how to scare in Uni.

I do like the fact that Disney went a different way on this one and showed us what happened before the first film. How the 2 main characters became friends, learned their trade and consequently their actions made the original film what it was.

The boys loves this film as not only does it have the usual Disney charm but it is funny, and the characters are fluffy monsters, what's not to love?!

Lastly, I received a pack of Jake and the Neverland Pirates cutlery. Again, Thomas loves this cartoon series. Always wanting Jake to win and beat nasty Captain Hook. It is a lovely little set, very durable plastic but has the metal parts also to get young ones used to using proper cutlery also.

There are a plethora of Easter gifts at Asda this year and at least our children don't have to have cupboards stocked full of eggs as there is a choice of gifts instead.

These items and many more Easter gifts and  items are available instore and on the Asda website too.
