I am forever taking photos. In fact, the reason I started this blog was so that I had some where to store all those precious moments that the boys go through whilst growing up. So when Canvas Design got in touch with me, it was a hard decision choosing which photo I would like creating into a canvas.
Ideally, I would have loved a large canvas with one of our wedding photos on for our bedroom but unfortunately for us, the memory card which has our wedding photos got lost when we moved and the original photos we have would not blow up to good enough quality for a canvas.
So instead, I opted for one of the boys. Trying to get them to sit still for a formal photograph was hard work. One was always pulling a face or looking away so eventually, I settled on 2 which I loved.
The first was a photo of them both sticking their tongues out. I wanted this one as it showed their fun side and I love to look at them and see the boys having fun. The second photo was of them both laid on the floor facing opposite each other. I quite like the composition of this one and thought it would look good on the wall.
I sent both photos across to Canvas Design, explaining that I couldn't pick between them and asking themselves to look at the photos and pick the one which they thought would come out best on canvas.
A shock was in store for me though when, a couple of days later, both pictures turned up on canvas.
First of all, I couldn't believe how carefully wrapped up they were, but then I was stunned that they had in fact done both for me as a surprise, something which I was not expecting.
I love them both. The quality is immense and the colours are bright and bold. Everyone has commented on how good they look and a few friends have even taken the website details so they can get their very own done.
