Most of the time, I try to blog every day and keep up with my posts but yesterday, I didn't get online at all. This was because I was looking after my gorgeous little niece, Laurel, who had come to stay. My brother and sister in laws are currently moving house and whilst they are sorting the new place out, I agreed to look after the little bundle.
Yesterday was great. Having 2 boys means that I am used to babies and their ways but a girl is so much different. Not only do they have a totally different temperament but they have cute dresses that you can dress them up in. This has made me incredibly broody now.
My sister-in-law, Nina, and myself have been scouring the shops and websites for baby items and furniture for her little girls new bedroom. As they knew they were moving, they never bothered to buy furniture for the bedroom until they knew which house they were getting and how big the bedroom would be.
It has been great to have a look around and shop for girly items and eventually we came across a gorgeous range of designer nursery furniture online and didn't waste any time at all picking out our favourites.
Nina is wanting a neutral room but with pink and lilac essences rather than the full on blast of bright pink. Subtle colours and quality items and after finding this picture, we were both in love. A room perfect for any princess!
I can't wait to see the finished room, once we have been out shopping for everything of course. Now I just need to convince Simon that we could do with our own little girly girl so I can design a pretty room too.
