Yogart Starter Set Review & Competition

Yorkshire Blog, Mummy Blogging, Parent Blog, Yogart, Yoghurt, Yoghurt Machine, Review, competition, win, Giveaway,

My husband and Thomas go through loads of yoghurt for work and school lunches. Even at home they eat loads of the stuff and snack on it between meals so at the end of the week, it can cost quite a bit of money. Trying to buy different varieties to suit and different sizes for both Thomas and my husband, sometimes Simon taking 2 pots of yoghurt to work with him.

When Yogart got in touch with me and asked if I would like to review the Yogart Starter Bundle, I said yes straight away. Yogart is the new concept from Beanies The Flavour Company, who make deliciously flavoured coffee. It is basically a make your own yoghurt which contains live cultures, is 100% natural, vegetarian-friendly and gluten-free.

The starter bundle comes with a pack of each flavour, the 6 in total being Strawberry, Vanilla, Lemon, Apple & Pomegranate, Greek Style and Natural Bio which once made, each pack makes 1 litre of yoghurt.

The actual machine itself is so simple to use:
  1. Pour 1 pack into a mixing bowl and add half a litre of cold water.
  2. Whisk together and add a further half litre of water.
  3. Continue to whisk until smooth and place the mix into the “Yogart Maker”.
  4. Switch on the maker and leave for 8 hours.
I was surprised to see that after 8 hours, there was in fact a lovely soft, sumptuous yoghurt in the machine. we tried the strawberry flavour first and my husband and sons took no time at all working their way through the litre of it.

I have now taken to using the machine to make the yoghurt and then popping some into little pots for Thomas to take to school and my husband to take to work and it proves to be, so far, saving us money. Even better when adding a few berries and some crumbled up biscuits.
