Workwear from Aldi

Working in the manual trade, my husband is always going through loads of clothing. Everything gets ripped, marked or just ruined by the chemicals he works with.

I wouldn't mind if it was his work clothes but at the moment, he has taken to wearing his regular clothing thus now complaining that he has run out of clothes and needs new ones.

That was when I started looking in to workwear and found that Aldi have just started selling a great range of items to suit this.

Yorkshire Blog, Mummy Blogging, Parent Blog, Aldi, Workwear, Jumper, Trousers, Boots, Steel Toe Capped,

Their work trousers are only £8.99 per pair and have fastening knee pockets for pads, elasticated active waist for comfort and side pocket with zip for security. The multiple pockets will come in handy for holding tools handy whilst working.

Simon also wants a jumper for work too. The pullover from Aldi is £9.99 and features reinforced elbows for protection and even a small zipped pocket at the top of the arm. It also comes in a range of colours to suit too.

With Simon sometimes working on building sites, he has been wanting a pair of steel toe capped boots. Aldi have S3 Safety Boots with 200 joule toe cap protection which are only £14.99 a pair. The meet all the safety standards and are fully protective whilst also being comfortable to wear.

This heavy duty range from Aldi will not only keep Simon protected whilst working but the durable stitching and hard-wearing material used means that they will last ages, even with all the robust use they will be getting.

All these items are available instore at Aldi now as well as quality tools and safety equipment too.

  5. I really feel for you there YorkshireMumOf2's husband, but if he's going through work clothes/shoes at that sort of rate, shouldn't his employer be paying for some of this, especially the shoes, which I'd have thought were a legal requirement?

    1. My first thoughts were surely some work wear is supplied by employer :- just as you have said Legal requirement. As there are Health and Safety policies.

    2. Hiya, Yeah, his employer does provide certain items but being as my husband is fussy with what he likes, he prefers to buy his own items etc

  7. Great that they sell these items, as may be useful for self-employed. Or for home D.I.Y (Do It Yourself).
