I am a lover of jewellery. I have tons of the stuff and love everything weird and wonderful. I have reviewed Balagan in the past and loved their styles and they always seem to have something for everyone. Their Blowing in the Wind collection are actually real leaves which has been preserved to make these stunning necklaces.

  14. When I was young I lost my much loved guinea pig. The next day there was a knock at the door and a friend had brought me a baby rabbit as a present - we lost touch years ago but I've never forgotten that kindness or indeed Bugs the rabbit

  68. As a child, a musical doll which had a compartment for jewellery (under the seat the doll was sitting on). I was maybe about ten, and my mum let me choose my present. I loved the doll because she was pretty, played music and stored my jewellery (what little I had).

  96. My best present ever was the baubles each of my children made at nursery :) they are pine cones covered in glitter and have the year they were made on a sticker round the hanging part. Each year they get pride of place on my tree :)

  103. This sounds crazy, my partner gave me some expensive Christmas presents one year but he is still surprised that out of all the gifts my favourite present was this cheap inexpensive frog paperweight which I still have to this day on my TV.
