Our Cuticura Hand Washing Kit

Yorkshire Blog, Mummy Blogging, Parent Blog, Cuticura,

Tuesday was Global Hand Washing Day and to mark the occasion, Cuticura sent us a pack of their anti bacterial hand hygiene range of products to review that will protect my family and myself against the spread of germs.

Global Hand Washing Day is a campaign that is supposed to motivate everyone around the world to wash their hands with soap. The campaign is dedicated to raising awareness of hand washing as a way to prevent diseases. It takes place on October 15 of each year.

According to a survey by Cuticura, 1 in 5 Brits don’t wash their hands after using the toilet and 1 in 10 simply rinse their fingers with water. But did you know that it actually takes 20 seconds of washing with soap to effectively clean hands?

So, we were sent a range of Cuticura products to help teach the boys about the importance of washing their hands. We received:
  • Anti Bacterial Hand Gel: Passion Flower & Mango
  • Anti Bacterial Hand Wipes
  • Anti Bacterial Hand Serum
  • Anti Bacterial Hand Wash: Black Pepper and Pomegranate
  • Anti Bacterial Hand Wash: Ginger and Manuka Honey
  • Anti Bacterial Hand Wash: Lime and Bamboo
  • A 'Washroom' door sign
Yorkshire Blog, Mummy Blogging, Parent Blog, Cuticura,

Since I was little, I have always washed my hands. I, in fact, think I may be a little OCD about being clean and am forever making sure my hands are washed and looked after. So I guess that this has rubbed off onto the boys as they are very clean and sensible too. After using the toilet, Thomas will always wash his hands with soap and goes mad if there isn't any soap when we are in public toilets.

That is why I think the Passion Flower & Mango Hand Gel will come in handy, for when we are out and about and need to wash away germs quickly. The hand wipes are also great for when the boys get mucky whilst playing outdoors. I can imply pull one out and clean them up with a simple and easy wipe that protect them from germs for 8 up to hours and kills 99.99% of bacteria too.

The Hand Serum is said to form an invisible glove on your hands that will keep your hands safe from germs all day long when there is no soap and water about. It is the perfect size for popping into my handbag and will be useful for when we are out at the park and don;t have anywhere to wash up before eating picnics.

My favourite hand wash is the Black Pepper and Pomegranate one. It smells so lovely and the scent seems to last for ages too. Cuticura Anti Bacterial Hand Wash gives up to 3 hours protection. It kills 99.9% of bacteria with natural extracts. Not only does these hand washes clean and kill germs but they also make my hands feel smooth and soft.

  7. This is fabulous stuff, but it never ceases to amaze me when I see mothers leaving public toilets with their children without getting them to wash their hands!!!
