DC Super Friends Magazine

Mummy Blogging, Parent Blog, Yorkshire Blog,

This week we have received a copy of the newly launched magazine, DC Super Friends which is aimed at 2-5 year olds.

DC Super Friends includes stories about the super friends Batman, Superman, The Flash, Green Lantern and many others but is written in a way that makes it suitable for little ones. It is also packed with lots of creative learning quizzes and activities for children to get involved with.

It has colouring games, cut out and keep items and make and wear activities which are all great to help stimulate childrens minds and get them being creative. DC Super Friends stimulates the imagination of pre-school boys through play activities and great stories of role models uniting through friendship.

The character fact files is great for young learners who are just starting to get involved into the world of the super friends as it means that they can learn more about the characters and every issue comes with a free toy so children can become even more involved with the characters. The first issue comes with 2 communicators  (walkie talkies) which are great for children who enjoy spy missions and being sneaky to find things.

The magazine includes a fan mail section where children can send in their lovely pictures of the characters and they will be printed in the magazine and you can also win brilliant prizes in their competitions too.

It has a lovely story called Robot Rampage which is not too long in length and I read it to the boys as a bedtime story and it seemed the perfect length for that. I can tell that this magazine will be a hit in our household and we will probably have to start collecting the next ones in the coming weeks.

The magazine retails at only £2.99, which is a good price for a children's magazine especially when it comes with a gift each time.
