Kids Grow Wild Challenge

Thomas is always digging up the garden so when we got our gardening set for the #KidsGrowWild Challenge, I knew he'd be in his element.
Having a look through our set and finding out what flowers we had been sent to grow, some bright yellow sunflowers, blue pansy's and cute pink pretty flowers too, we got all our things out ready to start.
Filling the watering can up with water, setting our pots out and pulling our gloves all the way on (you have to be safe you know!) and then... We got cracking...

Doing exactly as it said on each packet to make sure they grow correctly, we started with the sunflowers.

  1. Fill the pots half way with compost
  2. Place a couple of seeds into the pots spaced out
  3. Fill to the top with compost and pat down
  4. Water thoroughly
  5. Place out in the sun so they can catch some rays
So simple yet fun. Plus it means that Thomas gets to learn about looking after something. He waters them everyday and makes sure that they are in the sun to get that much needed light.

I loved the fact that Thomas got to dig and play in the mud whilst also creating something that will grow and look lovely in the summertime.
