Aspire Calorie Burning Soft Drink

Mummy Blogging, Parent Blog, Parenting, Yorkshire Blog,

I am forever drinking fruit juices and so when I heard that Aspires claims that it increases your metabolism, helping you to burn calories, I just had to give it a try. Really? Can a drink help you to lose weight?

A lightly carbonated drink that contains only 5 calories per 100ml, provides a good source of vitamins and minerals and has a combination of carefully selected beneficial ingredients all combined together to give the best drink for burning calories.

Mummy Blogging, Parent Blog, Parenting, Yorkshire Blog,Containing the extracts of Guarana and Green Tea and also L-Carnitine and it is suggested that these sorts of ingredients can help in raising metabolism, suppressing appetite and aiding weight loss.

A study in my home town of Leeds, at the Carnegie Centre laboratory, Leeds Metropolitan University shows that Aspire Drinks will help you to burn, on average, 209 calories whilst not increasing the heart rate or adversely affecting health in any way and has the same amount of caffeine as a standard cup of coffee.

For me, at first it was a little hard to drink. This wasn't because of the drink itself but because I'm not really a fan of cranberry juice. I thought that I would push past that though, I need to lose weight so kept drinking it and actually after a few cans, it became quite a refreshing taste.

I preferred to drink the cans chilled and they were very refreshing and thirst quenching but found that, because they were in cans, it meant that if I went out, I could pop one in my bag and have a drink whilst out.

Mummy Blogging, Parent Blog, Parenting, Yorkshire Blog,
I took one to the park with me and whilst the kids were playing, I sat and enjoyed it. Now I am really unfit but the drink seemed to give me energy, I had to check the can at one point to make sure I hadn't picked up an energy drink by mistake, but no, it was definitely Aspire that I was drinking. I think all the quality ingredients and the small amount of caffeine really do help with keeping you going when you get to that point where you feel you cannot go on.

I think the fact that it increases the metabolism is a real plus. Not needing to eat so often and feeling fuller for longer are a big help in the aid to lose weight and that metabolism is what causes all those feelings of hunger.

If you are wanting to try Aspire for yourself then it can be purchased in Holland and Barretts, Waitrose and many more stores.

You can follow Aspire Drinks on Facebook and on Twitter.

- I was sent this product/s to review but all thoughts and experience are my own honest opinions

  12. I'm not sure that burning 209 calories is enough for me to spend money on them - I'd rather spend it on fresh fruit and veg. Having said that, I'm a sucker for any new diet aid so I'll definitely be picking some up when the inevitable make their way into Home Bargains!
